Pharmacist — central government
The pathSkills
This is the central-government version of the state pharmacist job. It is a permanent, pensionable post, but you join through national exams instead of a state PSC. Several employers hire for the same role — central hospitals (through SSC), the Railways (RRB), ESIC, CGHS, and the defence/paramilitary medical services. CGHS is one of these employers, not a separate job. You start at 7th-CPC Level 5, with a clear set of promotions to Pharmacist Grade-I and Chief Pharmacist.
