Drug regulation
The pathSkills
This is the government regulator job. You start as a Drug Inspector by clearing a competitive public-service exam, then move up through the state (or central) drug-control offices. On paper it is the highest-paying and most secure first job. But there are very few vacancies.

Common questions
You can apply after completing B.Pharm, but you must clear the UPSC or state PSC Drug Inspector exam first. Recent central CDSCO recruitment does not require the old 18-month Schedule C experience, but some state DI exams may still require it, so always check the notification.
