Practising architect / designer overseas (Western markets)

The pathSkills

Working as an architect abroad (US/UK/EU/Australia/Canada), which means navigating local licensure — ARB/RAP/RfPUK in the UK, NCARB/EESA in the US, AACA/OQA in Australia, and CACB in Canada. Indian COA-recognized degrees are assessed by these boards and do not automatically confer title rights. NOTE: the research deferred all Western-market salaries (each market needs its own currency-correct figure), so the salaries below are placeholders pending a founder stub, not researched numbers.

Common questions

The degree is assessable, but you must register with the local board to use the title and practise. The UK is moving from older ARB prescribed-exam routes toward RAP/RfPUK, the US commonly uses NAAB EESA/NCARB plus ARE, and Australia uses AACA OQA/APE.
