Municipal / Development Authority Architect-Planner

You take an architect/planner post in a municipal corporation or urban development authority (e.g. DDA), working on town planning, building approvals, and public projects. Posts are limited and often blend architect and planner roles; many favour an M.Plan. Pay-matrix compensation must be read as basic pay plus DA/HRA/TA, and entry is exam/notification-gated.

Common questions

Many authority roles blur the two. An M.Plan widens your eligibility, but architects are recruited too — especially for approvals and design. The actual entry gate is usually UPSC, state PSC, GATE AR, or a specific authority notification.
